Deep Dish Pizza in a Cast Iron Pan



From Real Simple magazine, April 2011:

3 T. olive oil
12 oz. pizza dough
2 cups grated mozzarella
tomato sauce

toppings of your choice. (You can mix these together in a bowl with a T of olive oil).

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Coat 9-inch oven proof skillet with 1 1/2 T. olive oil. Press dough into pan. Top with half of the cheese, tomato sauce, cover with toppings and remaining cheese. Bake until crust is golden brown, 30-35 minutes.
